Nothing is Impossible With God

”For with God nothing shall be impossible.“ - Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I had to read that verse out loud over and over for it to sink in. Nothing! Absolutely nothing shall be impossible. In the NIV translation it says the word of God will never fail. Never!

These negative words. Nothing and never. God takes them and makes them full of purpose. In this scripture, Angel Gabriel told Mary she will be pregnant. A Virgin being pregnant?! Impossible, right? Yet God’s word never failed. She ended up giving birth to Jesus.

The angel also told her that her cousin who is past child bearing age is already 6 months pregnant. No way! Also not possible! Yet it happened. These babies were both connected with their purpose.

John was to prepare the way for the messiah. Jesus is said messiah. Both amazing. Both important. Both leading to our being saved. Yet they came from a not possible never could have happened situations. How? God.

Both were predicted to come. By Prophets many years ago. Prophecies that were held on by some and forgotten by others. Regardless of their memory God’s words did not fail. He did the impossible. He always has and always will.

If you are in an impossible situation, that there’s no way out, know this. God’s Word will NEVER fail. That’s why we have His book, the Bible. There are PROMISES in there for you. Yes. More than one promise.

The one you need is in there.

Here’s an example.

”As for me, I will call upon God; And the LORD shall save me.“ (Psalm‬ ‭55‬:‭16‬ ‭KJV)‬‬

Boom! He will save you! There’s a promise. And here is another.

”He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.“ (Psalms‬ ‭147‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Worried you won’t have enough?

”And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬ ‭NIV)

This is your head start. Collect your promises for what you need. Save them and recite them when anxiety begins to kick in. Not only is your promise never going to fail. But it is possible!

Christmas is our reminder that not only does God love us so much, He gave His only son. It’s a reminder that He did the impossible while simultaneously proving that His word never ever fails. We serve an amazing God! Now go get your promises!
