Knowledge is Power
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” - Nelson Mandela
There is power in applied knowledge. Knowing what you are worth stops you from accepting disrespect. Knowing your limits stops you from pushing too hard. Knowing your promises from God allows you to not miss out on your blessings. One of the saddest things we can do is feel we are supposed to suffer because that is what is currently around us. God has said in His word that “… In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) So when the stress starts to pile up and the worry sets in, grab that book of promises and find what you need for your situation. …because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)
It’s a big book thankfully. Enough to tell us 365 times do not fear. One for each day of the year. But meditating on it is key. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success (Joshua 1:8). Success in all areas of your life
God will always keep His word.
"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Numbers 23:19). So anything he is telling you in his Word is real and true. Your story can be changed at any moment. It doesn’t end here. Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).
There isn’t a fight that he has lost. So if you are ever in trouble, it’s guaranteed that you will be saved. For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."(Romans 10:13) When you are feeling lost and not sure what to do. Trust in the LORD with all your heart And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Feeling exhausted? But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
So do not worry about a thing. God will give you peace whenever you need it. You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.(Isaiah 26:3) God will provide for you. "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (John 15:7) - For there is nothing He can't help you do. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13) Take this knowledge and go apply it. Believing that God will come through. And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
Gratitude is huge but is it necessary during trauma?
